Anyways, since my ex girlfriend moved out a few months ago, I've been using my 7 year old PII 400MHz w/128MB RAM and no USB port piece of crap at home. Finally ordered this, and it's going to kick ass. It's an Inspirion 9300, 512MB RAM, Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz Processor, Windows XP Media Center Edition, DVD-R/RW & CD-R/RW, Remote control, 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X300 graphics card, 17.1" 1920x1200 resolution monitor, built in wireless, blah blah blah. Beats the shit out of my old clunker.
Anyways, I'm stoked, made a thread about it.

ohh also good buy you will be happy with your choice im using an hp pavillion that used to be a laptop. ITs freakin keyboard got FRIED yes fried. They wanted so much to fix it so i said beep it and just yanked the keyboard off. If i have time i will put in a new keyboard but naah its not worth it i will never buy an HP laptop again.

Nice laptop. Yea that would definately be one heck of a step up from an old pentium II. You should of got an AMD thou :wink:

i know, i just sent my HP handheld back, the told me it had: "a defective mothorboard" and a problem with the audio components didn't work, the headphone socket didnt work an the speakers didnt either. lucky under warranty they had it collected fixed an will be delivered all free !
oh BTW nice computer, an whats wrong with dells ? just about evey computer is the same under the skin, i mean within reason, you get more powerful ones etc..
