TRD Supra

i have a project planned for the future where i wanna take a racing supra and make it into the TRD 3000GT Supra(my dream car). i was wondering what the difference is between the stock fenders and the bodykit fenders. there are those vents, and it's widebodied, right? but how much wider is the bodykit than the stock?

I have a similar project in mind for the future. I think you can take everything (front and rear bumper and sideskirts) and use those. As for the width, I don't know the difference. I plan on adding 1 mm or so to each fender

dont know the exact distance from fender to fender widebody stock is 73.1 inches so id say its prolly about 80 but the racing widebody is diffrent from the street widebody the street widebody is full fenders not riveted in secionds like the race body.

yea i just noticed that while looking through the Supra meet thread. so i was thinking of sanding off the race flares and then adding some putty to make it wider like the TRD 3000GT Supra kit. thanks for the info on the stock Supra width. would that be for the middle of the car, the front fenders, or the rear fenders?

keep them use them as a basic design so you dont have to redo the wheel arches just putty around stuff. and i do not know where that is from i would think middle

what do you mean by keep them? as in the the arches? the arches on the racing Supra are so wide, and i'm pretty sure the TRD widebody is wider than stock, but barely noticeable. thanks for the info on the Supra.

That's a nice model in the link above, but don't forget that the entire wing is widened not just the arch itself as in that example.

thanks for the help. i just i'll just try to look at as many pics as i can and try and go from there. sorry guys, but progress won't be for awhile, i already got 4 projects on the bench, 4 waiting(dunno when), and then this one that i wanna do. i still need the stock kit, and the racing kit.

if ur talkin bout 1/18 diecast, u can buy a 2 fast 2 furious supra and use a dremmel and just cut off the fenders, bumpers, sideskirts, wing. then just respray it.
