I am now going for a Hyundai Elantra sedan or hatchback. I prefer hatchback since it has more room and looks cooler. Problem is that hatchbacks seem to be rare and dealers are complete sleaze at hyundai and lie like HELL. I can get a sedan for 12K and hatchback gt (all i can find) for 13K. Do you think its worth for the hatchback or is the sedan better for a reason I'm not thinking of?

I'm in the same boat, but every car I'm considering is a hatchback simply because I need hatch utility when picking up stuff at the home improvement or electronics stores on the weekend. I think in general hatchbacks give rear seat passengers a little better headroom. If these are not considerations for you, get the sedan. If you're like me, you'll get the hatch.
