2001 Trooper dies going down road

2001 Isuzu Trooper will die while going down road after about 40 miles of travel. Have changed the Accelerator Throttle Position Sensor. Will get no check engine light and no code. Right before the engine dies all the dash lights start flickering, engine jerks and dies. Sometimes when it cracks all you can do is get an idle, it will not accelerate. Out of things to check.
