in pure curiosity will a 99 si with an injen cold air intake
beat a gt with coldair intake?

also does it matter what name brand intake you have under the hood?
if so what the best one and how much would you pay for an intake?

i ha e seen some intakes that look like crap made out of cheap air cleaner and heavy steal piping sell for about 50-80 bucks wtf is up with that ?

i have heard every argument to this. some say it is worth the money the get a "high quality" CAI and others say dont throw your money away.

i would go with a cheap'o if i were you, but there will be others that will disagree.

Aluminum if any cheap-o. You don't want your intake putting more weight on your car that it gives for advantages to throttle response and stuff. I bought a car and the guy had a heavy ass steel pipe for the intake... I swear it weight as much as my battery. That's just dumb.

even though most people have AEM ints been proven that Injen is the best for HP gain. Most cold airintakes are almost the same if you wanna go cheap just get the filter and make your oven tube out of pvc pipe because i mean all the tube is just a big hunk of metal and who wants to pay around 150 for just the pipe. But i suggest going with the injen if you dont go with the custom one
