My floors are getting soaked, the A/C condensation doesn't drain through the firewall as it is supposed to. I tried to unplug the drain tube with a coat hanger to no avail.
Any suggestions?

You may need to tear apart the lower portion of the center console/dash to get at the coil/drain from the inside out.

Sounds like fun :disappoin .
Center console bolts are totally rust (the two that are left and bolted to the floor, the braket holding the other 2 screws is gone - rutsed away).
Any tip on taking appart the lower portion of the center console/dash?

Follow the instructions on the Haynes manual. It's not hard, just that there is a lot of stuff to remove. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up/in.

Thanks cdry, I have the GM Service Manual at home and try to dig my way through. I gues I take a days vacation or two since I just went past 100K and the spark plug change is due :sly: , tranny filter & coolant flush (I'll change the tranny filter and then take the van to the dealer for a complete tranny & coolant flush).

I need to clean out that drain also. For now, I popped out the drain plugs in the floor, under the carpet. At least the floor stays dry now. I know its not a good permanent fix, though.

I ordered the elbow (#22542866) which I should get today. My plan is to install it and blow some compressed air through the elbow. I hope this works, if not, I will have to tackle the disassembly of the dash.
