sr20, i agree with you that we should be able to post anywhere but on the same token, people should still use the subforums. we had lots of fussing over these and now that they're here we should make it worth the work the mods have put in. maybe they aren't organized the way i wanted them to be but the mods have put hours into figuring out how to get them to work.
jswigs, it also might be better to leave threads where they were started so that we avoid confusion, especially for newbs. i think once everybody starts posting in the proper sections then it'll be automatic.
the main thread page shouldn't be abandoned either.. in fact, its probably the best place to post since its the first thing people see when they log on.
guys, just like joining a new forum, having new functioning subforums are going to take some getting used to so give it a chance and check them just as often as the regular page so they get some traffic.
sideways, this is the internet, theres no reason why you should take things personally unless you know the person formally so lets forget it.

I can agree with that. I figure the regular forum itself will still get a lot of traffic and threads even with the subforums. You guys don't have to post everything engine in the tech forum and the other two are pretty easy and keep the main forum clean. I'll let things go for a while as I know you guys will be good on using the subforums-hell, you waited long enough for them. Anyway, any questions, comments, please let me know. In the mean time, this test has served it's purpose. Thanks guys :smile:.
