cleveland heads

i have a 351 cleveland i took the heads off to get some work done they are 2v closed chambers. itook them to a shop they told me they are not suitable as they are 302 heads, too much compression. i thought 302/351 heads were the same,should i use them or source out a set of "351" open chamber heads.any info would be appreciated cheers, Tony
