HELP with intake!

Hi,
I recently installed an AEM cold air intake in my 1992 Honda Accord. I have discovered that the polished tube has become faded and marred. I thought that AEM's lifetime warranty would cover this but the people at AEM say it does not. What should I do? Thanks a lot.

Well the instructions say to polish it occasionally. just get some chrome polish. I sometimes use glass cleaner but i dont recommend it im just lazy.
