Greets,
Well, my boi who has a shop got an awesome hookup on USDM motors (and might have a JDM one, he is going to check on it today). He can sell B16s (99-00 SI motor, hydro tranny, ECU, everything included) for 2$2000 and B18c (GSR motor, tranny, ECU, all inclusive as well) for $2500. He offered to give me to homie hookup to swap an engine into my car which seems like the obivous thing to do. Problem is that I'm going to be selling my car at the end of the summer and getting a differnt car. I've already got an awesome system, bodykit, paint, etc.. it's a show car. Question is will swaping in a GSR motor get me the money i paid back (at least 3k more than what i could sell for now).
thanks for any opinions!
btw: anyone intrested in buying motors at prices listed above + shipping you can get ahold of me on AIM or send an E-mail.. it's listed in my AF profile. thx

Are you asking if it will increase your resale value?
If thats the case, I would think it might increase a little if any. The problem is, you would have to find a buyer. Personally, I wouldn't go near any used car with a swapped engine. It just leaves too many questions as to how the car has been maintained, you get what Im saying. However, if you find someone within this circle of enthusiasts, who happens to want a ready to ride hybrid, Id guess you could get good money for it assuming all is in good shape.

Thanks! Good feedback.
What I'm probably going to do is just sell the car as is.. then i'll let them know that if the want to swap i could get them a deal on it and move from there.
fyi, the GSR motor would be a 99-00
