Now I know what is happening work wise, I am modelling a bit more!
Today I started the S Tune Skyline project as detailed on my web site. The base model is the R32 Warren sent me, and today was spent prepping the body and lowering the suspension.
I have located two LARGE turbos which will be fitted, and the whole intercooler will be routed through induction, cooler and into the inlet manifold.
Custom exhaust as usual, and big AP brakes have been fitted to the front.
Colour will be a very dark metallic grey with bronze wheels.
Pics as soon as something interesting to see!

Cool! how does one lower the suspension? you cant really just shorten the springs like in a real car. so whats the technique?

Glad to hear your settling back into your modeling. So what is special about the S-tune skyline? Is it a real life car that appears in GT3 or just in the game? Ive not come across it before!

The brakes are the rear set up of the R34 Race Skylines, the fronts are simply too big for the wheels on the R32!!!
This is all based on the Tamiya Road R32 Jay!
As for the real R32 S Tune, I'll do some research on it!
The lowered suspension is all based around the strut that sits next to the shock absorber. By removing plastic from it's base and where the hub rotates you can lower the suspension. The A arm then needs bending down slightly to meet the new posistion.
I have yet to tackle the rear.

I have a feeling that somehow this car is related to Initial D. The specs, color, and sticker placement are identical to the one in the anime and comic. Never heard of a S-tune R32 in real life before...I'm guessing the S stands for Shuichi Shigeno, the author of Initial D. Maybe I'm crazy...haha, anyways, a R34 S-tune do exsist and here's prove.
