stalling car....HELP!!!!!

I have a 99 ford contour that will not stop stalling!!!! The check engine light came on about 2 mths ago...and then started stalling....it started stalling to the point that it was stalling about 3 times every single day if not more. I just have a new part replaced on the car last week....when i got the car back the check engine light came back on but it didnt stall until this weekend....and it stalled 4 times in the past 2 days.....by the way my car was also in a flodd with the previous owner...any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated...please help!!!!!!!!!!

i would guess if its throwing a code, its probably a lean code. You probably have a vacuum leak which is letting unmetered air into the engine. What was the code?
