I have a 01 regal gs. I recently put in a cool air intake with out and intercooler. I'm planing on putting in a 3.4 pulley but I don't know how exactly. I'm leaning towards the thrasher snap on system. If any one knows a web site where is has a how to about this or if anyone has a good reason I should not do this please replay.

Thank you

There really isn't any reason not to do this especially if you want more performance. This should show you exactly how the pulley swap is done: http://www.pulleyboys.com/swap.html

you can go down to a 3.4 pully before you need to beef other things up. Two great resources will be

http://www.regalgs.org
http://www.zzperformance.com

regalgs.org has all sorts of info about the late model regals. zzperformance sells parts for the SC 3800 engine.

its been quoted in this forum that if you go to a 3.4 pully that you need to change the plugs 1 degree cooler to avoid knock retard. you may also want to consider the u-bend delete and a free flow cat...any smaller than a 3.4 you will need an intercooler
