up and down idle

hi,
1990 ram 5.2L. After truck is warmed up, when I take it out of drive and into park the truck idles fine for 7 seconds then starts to die out....then idles fine again......7 seconds then starts to die and catches itself. over and over.
Any info would help. New iac motor installed.
