Do I have bad front wheel bearings?

Symptoms: Burning rubber, grease odor from both front wheels, explorer sometimes pulls left and sometimes pull right, but no weird sounds coming from the front wheels

i think you need to jack up the front end and pull the wheels off and look at the brakes and hub/bearing area. if you dont have that knowledge, go to a local brake shop and get a cheap inspection to see what is going on. brake calipers could also be sticking, besisde wheel bearing problems.

I just replaced a front wheel bearing in my wifes 02 explorer,it made a loud humming sound, somewhat like a winter tire running on a dry road.It was a pain in the *** to replace and expensive...good luck
