Ok,
I just bought a 2001 isuzu trooper. I have had an 88 trooper for 8 years now and I love it. This new one has 35k on it and I have a few questions. When and how do I change the Trans fluid/filter and the rear diff fluid - also what type and can I use synthetic? I have only had this truck for two weeks and it seems that the transmission was slipping when I was going up hill last night. It was in third gear and I was going about 40mph - it was almost like a shuddering sensation. I'm not positive it was the transmission but that was my best guess. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Read the FAQ on changing the trans fluid... kind of a pain in the ass, but not hard. Rear differential has a normal drain and fill hole, so it should be pretty easy.
