i am currently enrolled at UTI, i haven't gotten to far into a job search yet but it always seem to me that they have a great employment services department.

I am enrolling this Fall and there are plenty of job opportunities for graduates from what they tell me.

If you really want the big money though (100k+ a year), you have to take a manufacturer specific training, which they will fully pay for as long as you maintain a certain GPA and attendance record.

I checked out UTI along with WYOTECH and a few other smaller scale tech schools. And my honest opinion after talking to people and seeing both campuses was that Wyotech is a better school. I don't hold much faith in any of them with the whole job search thing because well that's really your problem not the school's. It'll be great if they really help you look for a job like they say you do, but I'm not holding my breath on that. I start at Wyotech in october at the PA campus. So i'll have much more information then. The only thing that gave me a bad vibe about all of these schools was that the "recruiters(sp?)" seemed to be trying really hard to sell the school to me (there is a quite a bit of $$ involved) But, if I'm genuinly interested in the school i shouldn't need to be "sold". The recruiters did find it very funny that had like 100pgs. of information on each of the schools, and some stuff I had more information than they did. Do your homework, and take everything that the reps tell you with a grain of salt. When I went to visit Wyotech I was told they were breaking ground on a student housing complex(off campus townhouses). Upon further investigation i found out they hadn't even gotten approval for the site, and the town had basically shut down the project in the inital planning stages. Just remember that even though it is a school, it is still a private corporation and just like any other business they're in it for the money. Good luck and hope this helped you out. Peace-
