i was talkin to someone the other day about getting my rebuild done and he suggested thta instead of a rebuild that i do a sr20 swap into my teg. i have never heard of this. i though about it and it kind of makes sense b/c 200sx se-r comes stock w/ an sr20 nonturbo which is front wheel drive so would i be able to put a sr20det into my teg? what kind of problems could i run into as far as wiring, motor mounts, etc. are concerned. is it even worth it or should i ditch the whole idea and stick w/ the rebuild? the reason im actually thinkin about it is b/c a motor/tranny/ecu would onyl run me about $2000 plus labor which is slightly cheaper than the rebuild i want but would give me more power.

It's a completely custom swap. And you're not going to find any guides on here. Just because something is fairly cheap, doesn't mean it's goingto be cheap to get it in and running correctly. Smack the person who told you to consider this swap over a rebuild. It will cost a hell of a lot more to get the swap in than to just rebuild.

What the hell? Is this the fast and the furious or what?! Cool, lets put Nissan motors in Hondas. I agree with civicspoon, go to the guy who told you that and smack that dumbfuck.
