Head light problem

Last nite I was driving and switched from low beam to high beams.. Since I did that, Now my low beams don't work anymore.. I can switch to high beams if i want, but no low beams.. Checked the head light fuse, all is ok.. I only found the one under the hood.. Are there any others? When I turn the headlight switch on the door, I hear the relay click. The parking lights all work ok. I checked for a good ground at the LOW Beams and they are all ok.. Just no power. Also the lamp monitor shows that Low Beams are out or blown.. i changed bulbs still same result. Is it a bad switch or a bad relay somewhere? Or maybe the steering column switch for low to high? Need help fast these cops in the area are itching to give out tickets!! Thanks! Oh yea its a 1991 PA ultra..

check the fusebox under the driver side dash. Ther ought to be more than one fuse. pull avery fuse related to lighting and find the blown one.

Fuses all ok... didn't find anything blown, located the lamp control module, under dash next to steering column. anyhow, went to dealer they want 182 bucks.. I was struck dumb.. So first the junk yard, then the dealer.. They also said there could be a wiring harness issue.. go figure...

The hi/low beam dimmer switch is under the dash on the top of the steering collumn, near the ign switch. Replace it with one from a bonneville and you can get the flash-to-pass function without having to turn the lights on first.

Took my 91 to the local dealer for repair of ignition and magically when I got it back this same problem occurred. Upon taking it back to them, because I just knew they had messed something up when they got into the steering column to repair the ignition.

They told me it was the headlamp control module that is "way up behind the dash." OH, and don't forget the $180 price tag to fix it.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Thanks.

That sucks, Yea I went to the dealer too, 180 bucks.. Now the one for the Bonneville, It doesn't control the Lamp monitor just bypasses its feature right?? Mine is located under the dash, on the left side right above the fuse panel, All the wiring goes to it that I see... Hopefully thats the part.. What did the dealer do for ya?
