2001 Malibu

I've got a 2001 Malibu with multiple warning lights coming on but no problems in those areas. I need to know how to reset the computer without paying the dealership $100 to do it?

you can buy a program for a laptop and use that to reset it. it costs about $200 but you can do it more than once

if you take the battery cables off and leave them off for few minutes it supposedly resets the computer..

What warning lights are coming on?
