When its running are you getting a check engine light?

nope, it just randomly stalls.

Maybe the ignition switch? Next time it stalls quickly wiggle the key and see if it kicks back on. Since you said you have to turn the key all the way off and then back on this is what I would suspect.

How about basic infomation like when was it tuned up last? (could be why its stalling)

i highly doubt a "tune up" would cause an engine to randomely stall.

How does it idle? Does it bog down when you turn on the AC, heater fan or lights? Does it idle rough? If it does it probably has a dirty idle air control. It is right on top of the engine next to the throttle body. Sometimes these get clogged up with carbon. Use some carb cleaner and lubricate it and put it back in. If you aren't having any problems with a rough or low idle I think Tumbleweed has got it pegged as a faulty ignition swiltch.

there is no rough idling or anything of that nature. when im driving, it just...dies randomly sometimes. radio, air condition, lights, all still work.

is a faulty ignition switch the same as the engine computer actuator?

my dad is an engineer at ford, he told me that it might be because the engine computer actuator is going bad (the connection inside isnt good) and it will loose connection while im driving randomely, causing the engine computer to loose power, causing it to shut off the engine. when i turn the key back then back on, it starts because the connection in the actuator gets turned off, then on again, usually getting a good connection for a while, until vibration or somethin.

how does that theory sound?
