I won't go into the long, detailed story of the whole thing. I'll just skim over the good parts which is kind of long.

So I'm working for this company's summer program. There are lots of high school graduates and college kids all over the place. I come across this secretary's aid that I really like.

So I get to talking to her and ask her out a few times. She was always busy which I found odd. I was up front about it and told her to stop making excuses and just tell me no if she didn't want to go out with me. She said she wanted to but she really was busy and couldn't.

Well at this point I'm wondering what the hell is going on so a guy I know that works there helped me out. He said while I was out of the building (which 99.9% of the time because it's my job to go out and repair things in the middle of nowhere) a guy that works with her dad was up in her office talking to her. He said that guy had been hitting on her pretty much since I started talking to her.

So when that was said I put all the cards on the table and went for her trying to beat this guy to the punch. Well it didn't go for me the way I'd hoped.

Well I forgot about her and moved on, more where that came from, right? Well I come to find out that she was so "busy" because she was out on dates with the other guy who worked for her dad and was up there talking to her when I wasn't around.

Ok.

Anyway, a week goes by and it's Friday and the company is having this lunch for everybody. Well her new boyfriend is out there helping out and this other summer help that I work with sees him and says, "Hey, he's gay."

WHAT!?

Well come to find out this other summer help I work with knew this dude for a long time. He said he heard that back in high school he messed around on a few guys. He also said he heard this from many, many people, including a couple of guys he hit on trying to do something with. True, that all could be a lie but then again...

So that's my story. The whole time I was talking to that girl, I had a fairy doing the same thing. The reason she was so busy, she was out on dates with him.

I lost a girl...to a gay guy.

If that happened to me, it would tell me something. Seriously, thats hilarious.
