pry the decal off, what kind of decal? like an emblem, or like a sticker? the emblem pry off with screwdriver, then you can buy a adhesive wheel, something called astro wheel that you attach to a drill and buff it off. or if its the sticker kind, use fingernail and take off, then use goof off or adhesive remover to take off the rest of the glue.

If its on plastic, you can VERY CAREFULLY use a razor blade to scrape it off. Just don't push too hard or you'll take some plastic with you.

first off, take some wd-40 and spray the sticker, then using a razor on the wet surface, hold at like a 1-2° angle to the lens, and move at a 45° angle to the sticker, like diagonally, take your time and it will come right off without scratching anything.
trust me, i just did this also.

If you don't trust yourself with a razor, just take a hairdryer or heat gun if available, heat it up and scrape away with your finger nail. Then just remove the glue.
