Help refilling power steering fluid

I have a 1993 740IL, feels like power steering mechanism is drying out, booklet tells me that the reservoir is on left hand side of engine compartment, however I can not find any compartment that is able to open by hand if anyone can please refer me to where to find this reservoir.

I have found some info that might help you locate the reservoir. You can find more at www.e38.org.

http://www.e38.org/power_steering_hose_replacement.htm is a procedure that has some schematics on it and a picture of what the reservoir looks like. There are also manuals there in pdf format. Not specifically for the 1993 model but it might give you an idea of what you are looking at.
