ok i have 96 eagle talon 5spd...this is a fairly new clutch/pressure plate the hole shabang.....last night i was on the interstate and i jumped on it and switching gears pretty fast...when i finally got into town i noticed my clutch pedal got really hard to push...and it was catching really high...now when i jump on it and switch gears it seems to slip a lil...i checked the fluid its almost full..can it be the master cylinder or the slave causing any of this ...im pretty clueless..any help is appreciated

thanks

if the engagment is too high, it will slip...if you say the clutch pedal suddenly got harder, then it sounds like your master cylinder pumped itself up. this isn't good. the reason from this is not having the correct amount of freeplay at the top of the pedal. all you might need to do is a simple adjustment. there are instrcutions on the net on how to do it for our cars.
