Here's the slip:

That's a .500 light (3rd time I've had a .500 light; however, first time I've ever had one during the eliminations) and dead on my dial with a 1 (4.77 dial, ran 4.771 in case anybody has trouble seeing the slip). I'm VERY PROUD of that run to say the least. Some of you might remember about 2 months ago I came within .002 seconds of a perfect run (4.44 dial, .502 RT and 4.440) and to be honest, I never thought I'd EVER come that close to a perfect run again!
I wound up 3rd tonight (well, semi-finals, there were 4 cars but since the other guy that made it to the semis lost before me, that technically makes me 3rd). Won my entry fee back pretty much, though I was still in the whole $10 for the night ($40 entry fee, lost 1st round and had to buy back and that was $20, and wound up winning $50).
As a small recapp of this racing season thus far for me, that mad the 3rd time this year I've been into the semi-finals. And as some of you may remember, I was in the finals 3 weekends in a row.
Sooo, since I've been driving (roughly 25 races probably), I've had 5 semi-finals, and 4 final rounds (2 wins, 2 runner-ups), and now I can say I came within .001 seconds of a perfect run!

Thanks guys.
I lost pretty tough in the semis too. Was going to tell that story but forgot, lol.
Anyways, I wound up loosing by .006 seconds. I had cut a .525 light, the other guy cut a .526, and I ran 4.779 on a 4.77 and he ran a 3.781 on a 3.78. Everybody still there told us that was the best race all night. Too bad I came out on the loosing side, but I dont care to loose like that.
