Problem with gears since new turbo

Okay ever since i put my new evo 3 16g on the car, the gears have been acting funny. Second gear is the worse. The gears are kind of mushy and dont really lock in like they used to. Does anyone know why this may be happening. I didnt fuck with the transmission at all during installation. I thought maybe if i gave it a couple days it would go back to normal since i drained the oil and left it like that for two days. Its been 5 days since install and 3 days since ive been driving. thanks guys!

Lol I had the same exact problem when I installed mine. I was like wtf wrong with my transmission. It's the new j-pipe and etc. fittings rubbing against the transmission linkages(however you spell that). Just readjust some of your fittings and make sure no pipes are bumping into any of the shifter lines. Simple easy fix:)

Sweet man, thanks! Do you know if this can cause any damage if it has not already? Im gonna need to drive it to work tomorrow and i wont be able to get to it around 8 pm tomorrow.

I dont think it will cause any problems as long as you arent quick shifting or anything like that. Where mine was hitting is where the j pipe connected to the lower intercooler pipe. Look in that area for your prob.
