Automatic to Manual Swap Question

hey, i'm looking at swapping out my tranny, it seems like its starting to go alittle and its an automatic. i was wondering what a 99+ v6 has as a manual transmission. is it the t5? and would a t56 6 speed bolt up to the 6s?

i'm looking to do alot of modification so is there anyone out there thats done an auto to manual swap. what the process and time needed? i'm used to working on cars, did an engine swap last month. but how to do it is alittle drifferent. figured i'd ask the pros.

Well the V6 does use the T5, not that its going to be over your head or anything but its going to be considerable work to change it.
