Revell new civic kit~

Nope, if the civic is the SI (SIR in canada), it comes with a B16a2 (I think =P) the ITR has a B18C engine.

I think it could be good if they gave the 2 engines

I'm really looking forward to this as it will be a great one to mod. There is so much available for it in the real world so finding inspiration won't be a problem!!!

However I've never seen a Revel ITR in the UK so i don't expect to see this either - looks like it will have to be mail order!!!

Are you sure thatz how the official kit will look like?
On the revell-monogram site, it doesn't show the pic of it lookin like that, actually it shows no pics for the revell civic coupe si at all...

I think that's just an example of the car, not the kit. I really doubt they would include a carbon fiber decal. They might include those huge graphics because they did on their ITR.

I don't really like Civics (especially if they're not Type R), so I prolly won't get it. I'm sticking to Japanese TURBOcharged monsters and drift machines. (i.e. Evo's, Skyline's, Silvia's, FD's, etc...).

There is a rumor going around that Revell won't be releasing any new kits for a while. Money problems, I believe. I read this on a nascar modeling board. I hope it's not true. What I also heard, was that they were going to re-issue some Hasegawa kits, with the revell name. This is unsubstantiated.

I believe this rumor came off the Hyperscale web site.

I guess we will have to wait and see.

I though the revell civic was gonna be a hatchback, what happened?:smoka:

I just checked the revell homepage and it turns out they are going to be releasing both the hatchback and coupe.

th release for the hatchback is Aug. 2002 and the coupe in Oct. 2002

The ideas for that kit are endless as to what you could do.

hahaha you guy's are funny!....my local hobby store is selling one of those for 75 dollar's ROflMAO........it's the only one they have and until late may/early june there won 't be more, i cannot wait for it to come into stock because it's gonna look AWESOME next to my 80% completed ITR!........btw peeps, i ju st finished painting and putti ng decal's on my itr body! :D........all thats left is suspension and interior , and finding a good digicam! ;)........i cant wait to have this car finished, MAN I L OVE RICE

man i have been wioating for this model ive know about it for about 2 moinths there is gonna be a whole series if u have been to there site lately. If , no when, i get this model its gonna be slammed maybe a engine swap from a integra casue its a better enigine and awsome color maybe some rims from the integra cause i love those five spokes. I CANT WAIT!!!!!!

i cann ot decide what rims i wanna use from my ITR!........im thinking i will use the bl ack 5 spokes i painted with silver lugnuts and silver brim...........im not sure

yea that sounds cool, i painted mine white with a white interior and blue exterior and looks great.
