Does anyone know how I could fix the lights on my radio? It worked fine up until a few months ago, then it would come in and out and now it will not work at all, does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

have you checked on the display power supply? that's most likely the problem came from.

I also have a '98 and, unfortunately, that problem is so common that a shop in Mass. has a service to repair it. Check their link at

I think they want about $100. I'll get around to pulling mine and sending it up one of these days.

Does anyone know how to take the radio out? There are four holes in the front but I cant see any screws, does it pop off or something? Thanks everyone for your help.

You can go to an auto store and they will sell you a pair of horseshoe shaped clips that you insert into the holes. They will push aside the clips holding the radio in. On the other hand, some gearheads that I got to know said that making the clips out of coat hangars is just as effective.
