I have a '68 Galaxie and am trying to get it done so I can drive to school this year and after nearly two years or work it comes down to a blinker that I can't seem to fix. The blinkers work unless I turn on the head lights or parking lights. Then the front passanger blinker will just stay on and not flash no matter what. Bolth filiment in the bulb will light up. I have been told it is a ground problem but I have gone through the car and traced wires and can't seem to find the problem. All the grounds are ok. Does anyone have any ideas or sugestion on what to do next?

Likely one turn signal bulb or socket is bad. Both contacts on the turn signal bulb are being illuminated at the same time .
Try removing the turn signal bulbs one at a time. When you remove the bad one, the system should start to blink normally.

It ended up being a ground problem. I had switch the sockets out on the bezzel of the one that was messed up and it wasn't contacting good. Also had to change the bulb.
