I think this is kind of lame...
Street Racing is a broad subject... Maybe someone has an honest question.. hey, if I race someone for 200 bucks, is it worth the risk? Maybe they are asking because they dont have the knowledge. So where do they post? As long as it has to do with STREET RACING, whether they want to, or did race.. I dont see why they cant post.
Why not make it...if my car can't run 15's at least, I cant post. Oh dang, there goes 90% of the Street Racing posts. No more Civic vs. Elantra stories? OR the UBER BMW vs V6 Mustangs? (Who CANT beat one?)

Although most of the "who would win" threads are pointless, I somewhat agree with vett on this one. If someone has a reasonable statement or question to be made, they should be allowed to do so. Oh well, I'm no mod, therefore I don't make the rules. :2cents:

I really doubt you having politily putting your thoughts on this will get you in anykind of trouble so dont worry at all. Had comments and thoughts not been wanted the mods could have locked this sticky your entitled to post.

I agree it's a stupid rule, but we have stupid members who post stupid threads asking stupid questions. It gets old watching threads asking "who will win" and then, the race never happens and all our efforts to figure out who... are wasted.

That sounds like an excellent idea...it is human nature to sit around and try and predict the outcome of events before they happen...if it wasn't, then Las Vegas would still be a tumbleweed-filled shithole in the desert...plus, I think the "who will win" threads can be fun sometimes because it allows everyone to make a stand on one side of the issue, and then explain why car 'A' would beat car 'B' using some sort of logic...kind of like a debate thing, you know? Come on, we all do this, and it's not just about racing.

There are a lot of people that I talk to over the 'net on a regular basis that I would loved to have a couple runs with. Just for the shear fun of it.

I would run ya even though you would beat me. If you get close to your estimated goal. You will have like a 75 (give or take 10) horsepower advantage over me at the wheels and I think I am probably a little lighter than you but that will still account for a ass kicking most likely.
