I am looking at getting a 91 turbo eclipse. The engine and trans are bad so I was hoping to be able to fix them over the winter since I will have nothing else to do. I don't really have lots of knowledge of this, so I was wondering if there were any books or manuals that specifically cover rebuilding the 4g63T with lots of detail.
Obviously the Haynes books for general things and I've heard that the dealership has manuals that cover the rebuilding of engines.
Thanks

Service books are good refrences. they will not tell you specifily how to do things, but will show detailed pictures on how they are assembled along with part #'s and trouble shooting sections.
You can pick one on CD-ROM for $5 on ebay. or $118-$180 (depending on their markup) for a hard back copy through your local service department
As for a DSM Bible; were all waiting for somone to step up to the plate and write one. There are good resorces available through www.vfaq.com www.dsmtuner.com www.dsmtalk.com www.talondigest.com and a few others. but no how-to-books yet!

If you're still asking how to do it, it's not going to happen. It's too expensive and you should have searched first. Or actually read the introduction or newbie thread before you started posting.
