my baby is totalled. it's not fair. my uncle was coming home and he was drunk and smashed into my baby head on. he is in the hospital. but his stupid s10 killed my baby! it's not fair. my dad is giving me a new car if i don't file for insurance. it's a 92 240sx and it's pretty cool and hella fast but it's no caprice. he said he'll pay my fines to platte county and parkville though too. so i have no choice. this isn't fair!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOO! :crying: NOT ANOTHER CAPRICE GONE! NO OFFENSE MAN, BUT YOUR UNCLE REALLY IS AN IDIOT :chair:

I do feel for yah though. I couldn't imagine loosing my baby. My '84 is my first car. I've had it for a good 3 years now. My grandfather had one just like it (except it was a nice metalic silver/green color instead of cream) but gave it to my father about 9 years ago when he bought a 96 Caprice. About 2 years ago though the car rotted to the point where it no longer pass the NYS safety inspection, and had to be taken off the road (damn these Rochester winters). Today many of its parts live on in my car, and continue to keep it running beautifly.
Anyway, my point is that I can only imagin your pain and dissappointment. I'm sorry, and hope that you find youself in the driver's seat of another Caprice someday.

I must be bad luck. First mine was total just a month ago and now yours was totaled. Its like everyone is out to destroy/ruin these cars.

Hey HLandin did you ever find a new Caprice? I know you're not from around here (Upstate, NY), but theres a bunch of late 80's, early 90's (Boxy) Caprices for sale up here (Along with a handful of mid to late 70's Caprices), and a large majority of them are in excellent shape. I don't know how far you're willing to go.

Please tell me where I can find them on the web. I've found a few potentials but not committed to anything yet.
