Well If what Iv heard is right the USDM '90 teg already had a B series engine in it?
If so then its a very easy swap. Literaly bolt in the B16a useing the same mounts g/box etc. (or you can swap to the JDM g.box some of which have better ratios for the heavier teg. (you want an S1 or YS1, if you get a Y1 use your orginal box, and sell the Y1 for a rediculas amount of money)
Then all you have to do is some minnor wiring for the VTEC. :)
IF however the USDM Tegs came with a D series engine, then you need a mount kit and some more wiring. It is however exactly the same as doing the swap in a Civic.

I used to have a 1990 GS 'Teg with this conversion. I LOVED this car. Anyways, yes, you can bolt the stock A/C compressor to the b16. You can use the stock mounts, though I recommend upgrading to urethane or at least some brand new stock ones. You will need a custom wiring harness and, instead of paying somebody to wrestle with your wiring and possibly crossing wires and such I recommend HASport here in Phoenix. They make custom harnesses for this application. I bought mine from them for 75 bucks. The harness comes with a wiring guide that'll help you or your mechanic. Check www.qwestdex.com for their contact info...I'm not about to give free advertising, just trying to help. Oh, by the way, I would inquire about their custom ECU programs for Honda. They absolutely kick ass. I got one of their custom reprogrammed ECU's for my '90 'Teg, and I was VERY happy.
