ive been with my GF for about a year and a half now. She lives about 15 miles from my house, one way. Due to work and school we usually only get to see each other on wednesdays and fridays. Well for the last year since ive had my car, its been me driving to pick her up, take her to my house, take her home, then me drive home. Well after putting 20,000 miles on my car in a year, and wanting the car to last. I asked her today if she could drive to my house. She says no and she doesnt want the miles on her car. Im like wtf? At this rate my car will be dead pretty soon. Then she starts saying i care more about my car than i care about her, cause next weekend im going to be driving about 100 miles to buy some rims. "oh you can drive there to buy rims but you cant drive to see me?" WTF IS THIS SHIT?! For me to see her on a day i have to drive more than 60 miles, thats 120 miles a week. 480 miles a month, 5,760 extra miles a year.

Am i being an ass or is she?

she is... i'd flip the script on her.

I'd be like, so what you're saying is you care more about YOUR car than me? Since YOU dont want to put miles on YOUR car!

You, as the boyfriend, have the social obligation to take her out, so you should drive.

Sure its unfair, but dating is like that. The guy has to pay (or at least offer) for the movies, dinner etc.

IMHO the 'miles' on her car is just an excuse. There is some other reason why she doesn't want to.

Is there something else going on? Any arguments, etc? If she really liked you and was a caring person, she would offer to do at least some of the driving, if you asked.

one thing i don't understand, why do you always bring her back to your place. why don't you drive to her place, STAY THERE, then drive home when you're ready. you'd be saving a trip

Dude, dump that bitch, no more reason to put miles on your car because like you said, it's going to be gone soon if you keep doing that. Tell her that if she doesnt start driving to your house to see you, then it's over. Simple, just go out with a different girl that's closer.

Pick her up, take her out to a nice restaurant(as far away from her house as possible) and tell her to get out of the car right in front of a bus station :lol2:

Personally, I could care less about an extra 5,760 miles a year. I would tell her to drive to my place just on GP. It might be to late though, sounds like she's gotten used to you driving her around. As far as being "obligated" to drive, I can understand it when you first hook up, but not after a year and a half.

Big deal, if you dont want to drive to see her dont. That or take good care of your car and it will take care of you.

we worked it out now. She doesnt want to drive cause technically its not her car, its her parents and the car already has 120,000 miles on it, and she needs it for college. I cant stay at her house cause she lives with her grandmother, and no sex be going on there.

We came to another agrement, i recently got 20% tints all around my car, now she gives me road head whenever i ask. Ohh yeah!

That's why you buy a Honduh. 20,000 miles per year is nothing. (J/k)

It's good that you were able to work it out. She probably feels more comfortable when you're driving. Women are like that.
