destroyed another civic

well 10:30 last night i wanted to go for a lil ride cuz i was bored, and not too many ppl were out, so i turn on this one road and im just crusing listening to some music, when out of the corner of my eye i see a car with green neons. i slow down and see him turn go in the oposite direction. so u hit a U right there and follow him.. he turns back onto the road i was just on and as im turnin he punches it in 1st i then floor it and even with his 3 car lead, i closed the gap just in the end of my 1st and then start to pull hard in my 2nd, but then my secondaries open(5 grand) and i must have put 3 cars just from 5 to 6 grand.. then we shut down to traffic and we were racing in a 35 mph zone. anyways it was a nice clean civic except i didnt like the green neons. it was silver 2000 ex model. when we slowed for traffic i looked over and his jaw dropped, i wanted to be like yea i have an automatic 1.8.. but i didnt feel like lieing. :)

Sounds like he shut down before you. Putting 3 car lengths on somebody between 5-6000rpm isn't likely if he was still on it.

no bc i had a car closer infront of me than he did and he almost did a ricer fly by but he hit his breaks infront of me then pased me.trust me i do this to civics all the time.. when my secondaries open i rip on them.

3 nights ago i did this to a friend in a civic ex with a few bolt ons, he just beat 2 other of my friends and he was tryin to show off and he try to get the momentum built up and start b4 be while he was behind me but i floored it and stoped him then when i hit 5k in 2nd i quicky ran away from him, and he called me and said " bro, u just embarrased me, dont ever do that again" and i just laughed.

I don't doubt you beat him, I just don't think 3 cars within a 1000rpm band is possible. Your car is faster, but not that much faster. I don't think a vette could do 3 cars in only 1000 rpm.

Picking on Civics huh. Civracer's gonna be cranky, heh.

i wish i woulda had a video of me racing my friends civic, its a lot faster than the one i raced last night but from a roll when we run i let him get into his "vtec" (even tho its sohc) lol and we stay even when hes at 5 grand and im at 3 in 2nd gear then i start walkin by at 4 and by 5 grand i ripp on him, and at the end of 2nd i have 2-2 1/2 cars.. but this one was probably stock with a fart can.
