Sometimes you see all these Supras or any other car for that matter, with custom body kits.

Well, how would one go about having a custom kit done for his/her car and what would the approximate cost of the entire project come out to be?

It's almost impossible to have a custom kit made for your car without paying an arm and a leg for it, if you even can do that. You would have to be in the car show game for quite some time, as well as have your name out there for winning some big shows and contests. That is really the only way I know of. Another option if your looking to go the expensive route is to buy a extremely wild kit that only so many people can afford. But don't get me wrong, I wouldn't do that and then go out rally racing or racing period with it. For a MKIV supra, the AB-Flug S900 kit is one of the most original kits ever made for the car, or the Veilside Fortune kit. But the S900 cost around 14 grand, and that doesn't include a 3 grand paint job and labor, that's just to get it from them. Take my word for it, if you want to be original, your most likely going to have to make a custom kit yourself. It can be done and it will take some time but it will definitely pay off in the end.

I really think those s900 kits are ugly. Completely ruin the Supra IMO. The Ab-Flug based off the TRD kit is pretty kool though (named the s9500 I believe). Although you can't really find those anymore.

Flyin',

I have actually heard of custom body shops but I guess special shops like that are pretty rare to come by, especially where I live. (Buffalo)

Anyway, I would love to have my own custom body done, and am willing to pay a lot of money for that extra originality.

I'll probably be purchasing my MKIV TT within a matter of months and I've been shopping around for some kits. The only one I'm considering is the TRD widebody.

I pretty much love the shape and style of that kit, but I'd love it even more if I could somehow have the front bumper custom made.

You could always buy the kit and have another front end modified and fabbed to fit it. It won't be original but it might help with what your trying to do.

Yep, that would definitely be awesome.

The only issue I have though is trying to find a high quality TRD kit. I've looked at what Supra Store has and a few other places online. But I'm thinking of going with Supra Store since they seem reputable.

I'll look around for you. I might know where a couple are hiding.

The're selling their kit for 2k at Supra Store, which is awefully cheap. And as you might expect, I'm a little skeptical of the quality of the kit and whether or not it'll be a good fit.

Body kits, graphics, and stickers look like DooDoo....

Keep it clean, and make it fast.

I love the way the stock body looks, but I just want something that looks a little more agressive.

And the TRD widebody is one of the cleanest looking kits you can get I suppose, which is why I like it. I can't stand Veilside or any of those other extreme kits.

Yeah, just make sure you get a real TRD kit, the clones don't look right, oh, and be ready to drop 8-10k to have it installed properly. It is not an easy conversion at all.
