hey wattup new to all this

I just bought some team dynamics monza 17 x 7"'s
what is the offset on these wheels? does it matter?

I need to know what tires to get? I thought I was set on 205/40/ 17 but now I'm hearing about 215/40/17 is what I could also get? any ideas also does the offset of the wheels matter in regards to tire size?

I own a honda civic ex sedan 2000 what gen is that? everything is stock. Will my 17"'s affect me droppin it?

17's shouldn't make that big of diff. i would really look into some coilovers thou
