88-91 Civic & CRX meet....

this will be the first 88-91 Civic/CRX event in the Bay area. the Event will be held on May 19, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the San Leandro Marina. for more info, please stop by:

that's what i did :D i got sick of hearing about the PA events. i'm hoping i will get an event going in possibly Portland before the summer is over as well.

if you do organize an event, i will gladly help you promote it

If you get a meet together for portland area, I'll be there!!!! Don't know anyone up here thats into 4th gens other than myself, so I can't bring a bunch of people with me, but I'd love to see a local meet happen! Keep us posted!

Heck...if theres a meet in Portland. I just might be there. Even though im in Cali its not too far to oregon. =P

Are the roads still terrible in Oregon? I went up there for an Integra meet with a bud once, and every road we went on had been thrashed by logging trucks.

Are you guys going to have a drive too? Thats one of the best parts of a meet. I've got some thing going that weekend, other wise I would be there.

Ok, posting on this thread to bring it to the top, when are we going to have a west coast meet?

We need a west coast meet. I would love to go to Portland for a show. I need to know ahead of time to request it off. That would be awsome.
-one more thing Ami do you have any flyers for yours and this web site Ive seen a couple of hooked up 4th gens around and would like to spread the word and possibly more candidates for a west coast meet

I'll be there if it happens. Just need to know when so i can get the time off work. Havent been to oregon for couples years but it be worth the trip to meet up with hecka peepz :)

as soon as i get a logo tm, i can create some business card size flyers for all of you to print up and hand out (or leave on your car at shows...as eric does :D)

you guys want to drive to the very southern part of OR (near CA/OR boarder)? it's approx 6 hrs from San Fran and again, approx 6 hrs from portland. i'm thinking about having an import car show and have travis come down with some friends. it's open to anyone to come. will probably be early aug. if people are interested, then i'll seriously figure out a date.

I would be down for sure if the meet was near the CA/OR border. I am pretty sure I wouldnt be able to go all the way to portland (parents would trip) but if it is there, I could go, I know someone who lives near there I could stay with.

Im down to go. Just need the date(s) of the meet.

Yeah, I'm down for a portland meet, but I dunno about the OR/CA border meet. That's a ways.

Ill go wherever it is.... no matter if its on the boarder of CA\OR or if its all the way in portland, So someones gotta make a choice :)

I say it should be on the CA/OR border because this is a pretty centeralized meeting place as far as the west coast goes. It will take So. Cal people about a day to get there, and it will take Washignton people probably about a day also, I figure some people from inner states (nevada, idaho, arizona, and possibly utah) would also be interested in going. I figure the CA/OR border is about as central as it gets. Especially near I-5

As you can see from these numbers, Medford is pretty central.

MEDFORD! that is the key word. i'm 80 miles closer than medfored if you're coming from SF.

okay, here's the deal...the shop is car audio. they were getting sick of all the imports coming in (thanks to me and my Si :D). jer took some time off and they noticed a decline in people coming in. so now they gave us the okay to have an event at the shop. i would love to pack the parking lot with 4th gens. the shop wants to do it like july 20th but that is when travis will be having the event in bend.

now, if you guys want to go up to portland from SF...stop and get me on the way. i'll roll up to portland with ya.

you guys figure out what you want to do. i'll try and get a date set in Aug for a car show at the shop. just let me know....

Where is the car audio shop?

the Midwest CRX Club holds mini meets all the time in the MN/WI/IL area (Chicago, Madison, and River Falls, WI are popular locations) (River Falls because of its proximity to a SWEET road to have fun on)

We also just wrapped up our big annual meet at Elkhart Lake to watch the SCCA June Sprints at Road America.

I'll try to remember to post upcoming meets here.

I hate being stuck in this sh-thole state. I miss all the cool stuff :(

Can we if all possible hold it in mid August. I work up at G.I. Joes and got transfered to a new store and it opens the first of Aug. they will probly tell me I cant have the day off probly in the first week because they will need bodies to work.

It would be cool if we held it before july 31, I go to college after that and may have trouble coming up. I may be able to do it in august, but we will see.
