I've searched this forum and the net and haven't really found a consistent answer. I know there are a lot of knowlegeable guys here, so I thought I'd post directly.
What is the recommended tire pressure for a 1999 1500 4wd running BFG All Terrain T/As (D load rating)? I have LT265/75/R16s. I'm just interested in normal day-to-day on-road driving, not pulling any loads. I know that that door panel says 35/35 psi. But I'm assuming that's too low for the beefier/bigger BFGs (originals were P235s).
Thanks in advance for your input!

I am the original owner of my 1990 K1500. I have always had LT265/75/16s with D load ratings. The truck has 112,000 miles on it. I am now on my third set of tires but they only have 3,000 miles on them.
I run 40 PSI in the front and 38 in the rear. I rotate the every other oil change. I got 55,000 out of the 1st set of tires and close the same on the 2nd set.
