Soaked Driver's floor

I have a 2000 GC and water is leaking on the Driver's side floor. It's coming directly from the heatercore box. I have just replaced the heatercore for the same reason but it hasn't fixed the problem. Is there anything else I need to consider (clogged lines, evaporator, faulty installation)?

Is it plain water or a water/antifreeze mix? That would be different issues altogether.

It's plain water. I tore the dash out again, thinking it was the heater core. Then I removed some type of sensor/cover, that is located on the passenger side by the fan. It was pretty wet in there too. I am curious if there is some type of drainage that may be blocked up. I've noticed that the van does not drip water from the underside like most vehicles I've seen. Could this be the issue??

If its plain water that rules out the heater core. Is this a mostly when you run the A/C time of the year problem or only after it rains or you wash the van? There could be a leak somewhere up higher that is running down to the floor.

My best guess though would be that your A/C drain tube is stopped up and the condensation is filling up and running over into the floor.

As far as I can tell on my 92 caravan, with the hood up looking past the motor to the firewall about center and then down, there is a rubber tube about the size of a dime that is the drain tube for the A/C. Its not like others that I have seen on Fords etc that are shaped to be basically pinched closed so nothing of any size can get into it, its just a round open rubber hose/tube.

You might try a little compressed air into it or gently probing with something to see if you can feel something stopping the tube from draining.

Thanks for the info. I'm almost positive it's a clogged drain. It's leaking whether it's raining or not. The water is just that, straight water. No coolant. The A/C is working fine. I tried to locate the drain but couldn't. I'm thinking I should be able to find it now.

Thanks for the advise. I was able to locate the drain and unclog it. Things are working normal now.
