that was the dealer plates...thomason motors in oregon used to put his ugly mug on the dealer plates!! :)

That is what i'm doing to my car next......taking out 2002 Z06's!! :) I still like the Z06 a lot though!! :)

The whole kit is about 6k. At 6 psi he's pushing 320 at the wheels. I guess he runs 8 psi a lot now. So that is more around 360 at the wheels...putting it over 430HP at the crank.....mwwaahhhh mwwuahhhhh :)

:) Hard top looks great, man. If I were to get an S2000, I'd get that carbon fiber hard top from Mugen. Costs like 5 grand, though :( Here's a decent picture of it:

Mugen hardtop is nice but not really worth it. Most people that buy S2000 don't use it much during the winter. 5K is probaly better spent on other upgrades.

i live in oregon..i drive mine every day! it is my daily driver, commuter car, grocery getter, etc...i was even trying to think of a way to strap my christmas tree to it!! ;) hehe...ended up using the girlfriend's CRV.

Canada and Eastern United States where they have snowstorms etc.

Yellow S2K's are my favorite. Any mods planned for it? GReddy has an exhaust, Comptech has headers, and AEM is apparently almost done building an intake for it. So you'd be able to hook it up, just not for a cheap price tho. :(

the mods dont really do much for it in N/A guise. I think honda rung very close to the max out of it at the rev limit that is has. I mean you could get more HP if you didn' have to stick with emissions, but that would sort of defeat the purpose of me using it as a daily driver ....if it couldn't pass Smog!! :) No, this is the first real car I have bought myself and I'm gonna get rid of it in a year or so I think. I want something with more power and I don't want a turbo car. N/A is the way to go and I applaud honda for going that route. The engine is cool, but just too small to get the kind of power I want reliabliy and N/A. I am gonna take a look at the new Z, RX8, but will probably go with a more expensive car and get either a C6 corvette or a 2002 911....I haven't decided....of course that all hinges on me not getting laid off or some crap like that!! :D

yeah, i love 911's , but the rumors about the C6 are just amazing. Something like over 420+HP and around 2800 lbs...that sounds too good to be true...so who knows! :)
I am a porsche fan from back in my grade school days...so it will be a hard choice. I don't think I can go wrong either way though.

Next Christmas you need to strap the tree to the top of the S2k and go race people around Portland... I mean, what do you do when someone rolls up to you with a Christmas tree on the top of their car and wants to race? Then they proceed to beat the hell out of you?
