okey so im working on my website and im trying to alter some things in my CSS file. I want to have a picture in the background in full color, and then above that inside a table would be some text. Now the read-a=bility of the text is bad (being black) but i want to keep the picture in its full color. Is there any way to put some code inside the CSS to change the table so that the background color is some transparent value (like semi transparent gray or something)?? Show some balls and give me your best shots

so basically you want to add a gray quasi-transparent layer on top of a picture to make the text on top of it more readable. Seems overly complicated.

Do this: just add a gray of whatever transparent layer on that pic in photoshop replace with the original one then absolutelly position whatever text you want on it with whatever atributes you want.

yeah thats kinda what i have now. But i was just wondering if there was a code out there already that did this for me. Because then i would think that i'd look cool when the table isn't over it, that you could see it in full color. I was just wondering but thnx anyways.

If anyone does have that code or so please tell me (or if it is even possible).
