Track day

Went to the track today for the first time ever. Had a great time! Well it was hot as hell today so for most of it I was running around 16.5 but once it started to get darker and the air temp got lower I ran a 16.244. My buddy that went with me was running a 2002 celica gt and his best time was 16.301
All in all it was a good day. my car ran right at what I was thinking it would considering my mods and my limited experience. if anyone has any track tips or stories please share

what i would do is take the spare out, pull the back seats out, remove the glove box(keeping your reg/insurance) and did you have a passanger??

those are somethings that can make you a bit quicker.

I've got a 01 tib i4 with AEM intake and catback exhaust. I took out my spare but didn't feel like messing with my backseat
