Driver Seat Mysterious Wire

Theres always been a wire under my drivers side seat that Ive never looked into. But just today I realized it came apart from whatever it was connected to. It looks like a ground wire but not sure, does anyone else have this wire? It might have been installed somehow by the previous owner. Odd question but I dont have a helms manual.

Yeah, it probably the seat belt indicator wire...the wire that senses and sends a signal to the dash whether the seat belt is buckled or not. They should be a plug coming off the buckle under the seat, just plug the wires connector into that.
