99 Sinfire radiator fan replacement

I have a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire with a shot radiator fan.
I already have a used replacement fan but can't figure out how to remove the old one and put the new one in.
What is the easiest way to replace the fan?
Does it come out of the bottom or the top?
Do I have to drop the bottom radiator support to get the fan out?
