Ok, so here's the deal. About 2 weeks ago I bought a 2000 ZX3. On monday I recieved a letter in the mail from the car dealership saying that the financing did not go through aqnd that they wanted thier car back. Upon arival at the dealership, I was told that they could finance me in a 2005 ZX3. Whick was cool, here's the problem:
After about 5 1/2 hours of sitting at ford, I rolled my new 2005 ZX3 Focus (which had 15.4 miles on it) off the lot. They gave me a certificate to fill my gas tank, so I drove about 2 miles to the gas station, filled my tank and took off. 5 seconds later the transmission goes out!!!!! I was so pissed, to say the least. BUT WAIT! It gets better. I was picked up and brought back to the dealership, where I spent 3 more hours chewing out the manager and salesman. I was driven home and told I would have the car back the next morning. When I picked the car up (3pm) everything seemed to be ok. I drove the car home, which was about 25 miles away, and parked it with a smile. AN HOUR later, I drove the car 10 miles into town, and guess what? NO TRANNY AGAIN!!!!!!   Has anyone ever heard of this before? Or am I f :nono: cking dreaming?! So, the company is giving me my :2cents: back and I don't think I will be buying any new Ford product of any kind anytime soon.

At least they know a lost cause...
See my post, 41,000 mi history,
My tranny went out as well, at 15k If i remember.
What you need to do is refuse the car. Take it down there and get another one, DO not take the car again. They took the 2000 back, you give them back the 2005. Refuse to pick it up. Tell the sales manager the car is defective. If they threaten you, tell them you will retain a lawer and then call a lawer, and get him to type you up a letter.
DO NOT BUY THAT CAR
GO BUY AN IMPORT YOU DO NOT WANT THE HEADACHE

PS. Most states give you 30 days to return a car any way, check with a lemon law attorney. You are not stuck with it the second you sign the dotted line. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. The dealer will pressure you, they do not want that car back!!!
