89 1500 blazer audio wiring problem

Ok, somehow a dime got stuck in my cig. lighter and shorted out my int. lights, the lighter itself and my radio. I checked the fuses and now the lighter and the lights work. But my radio is still not turning on. I know the radio isn't blown because i plugged it in to another car and it works. All of the fuses are fine too. I dont know what else to look for. And i also dont know if the dime in the lighter is linked to my radio problem. Is there an audio wiring diagram out there? Has anyone ever had this problem before? I really need my tunes. I would appreciate any replies.
thanx,
eric

Replace the cigarette lighter socket, or temporarily disconnect it. The dime in there is a dead short to ground which could be affecting the radio power circuit. I had a slightly older GM car around the same vintage year. The cigarette lighter was deriving power from the same circuit that ran the radio.

Also, take out the player and check for rear mounted fuses right on it.
