Last winter the wife hit the end of the garage and cracked the front bumper in two spots. It was very cold and it cracked clean. Is there a glue that would work on this plastic? I don't have any idea what kind of plastic it is. I can hold the edges together and you can hardly see the crack line.

urethane.
(the inexpensive fix)
use as minute an amount as possible, wipe excess, and would be best to hold the seam overnight.
appropriate fix, is aftermarket bumper. I know, probably $500-800 for R+R and paint.
good luck.

Go to O'reillys and get some 3M plastic weld and a few pieces of fiberglass cloth, rough it up on the back side, get it straight, use a hair dryer if its warped (temporarily superglue and tape it if you have to) glue the hell out of it and reinforce it with the fiberglass cloth. touch up paint works wonders. mike
